Max Lail Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Lail (Lawndale, North Carolina), who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Herbert Lail and Eliza Lovella Ledford Lail; his wife Trudy Cloninger Lail; his siblings, Herbert, Robert, David Lail, Edna Hensley and Betty Butler; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Cloninger and Dan Cloninger (Marilyn); and his aunt Dorothy Lee.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Lail (Jerry) of Boiling Springs, Raye Bridges (Jerry) of Cliffside and Bill Lail of Shelby; his nephew Greg Cloninger (Diane); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Daniel and Dillon; his sister-in-law Vivian Cloninger; his nieces and nephews, Michal, Tony, Kelly and Eric; and his cousin Jatha Austin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
