She was predeceased by: her parent Clemmie Vertis Ledford; her husband Jesse Henry Ward, Jr; and her sister Geneva Wright. She is survived by: her parent Donnie Telithe Bowman Ledford; and her children, Wayne Ward of Shelby, Pat Ward (Patti) of Kings Mountain, Scott Ward of Shelby, Dennis Ward of Lawndale and Gail Jones (Harold) of Lawndale. She is also survived by six grandchildren and numerous loving great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
