She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Cook and Wilma Cook of Dirty Ankle; her daughter Rita Canipe Davis; her sisters, Ruth Chapman (Parksie), Maxine Taylor (Carol) and Faye Ledford (Major Lee); her brother-in-law John Swink; and her nephew Bobby Ledford.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ray Canipe; her grandson Christopher Wayne Davis (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Spencer Davis, Liliana Davis and Ashley Davis (Cody Denson) of Spartanburg, SC; her son Michael Canipe of Crouse, NC; her grandson Ayden Canipe of Crouse, NC; her sisters-in-law, Linda Cook and Margaret Swink; and her nieces and nephews, Nina Greene (David), Pat Wilson (Phillip), Connie Vasquez (Jose), Sherry Thomas, Ronnie Taylor, Danny Taylor, John Swink, Jr. and Jim Swink.
