She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lee Self and Effie Elizabeth Bivins Self; her former husband James Henry Ramsey; her husband Richard Melton Cook; her daughter Gail Ramsey; and her siblings, John Howard Self, Daune Self, Harlan Self and Bernice Leigh.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Ramsey Howard (Stanley) of Fallston, Janice Ramsey Lancaster of Lawndale, Christine Ramsey Blanton (David) of Mooresboro, Phyllis Cook Yelton of Forest City and Myra Cook Eaves of Shelby; and her sister Faye Pruett of Belwood. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions mask and social distancing will be required.
