It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Liborio John Alfano (Lawndale, North Carolina), who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Alfano and Charlotte Freitag Alfano; his brothers, Peter Alfano and Robert Alfano; and his niece Renee Alfano-Kostenko, MD.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Arbaugh Alfano; his children, Bryan Alfano (Catherine) of Connecticut, Kimberlee Drago (Marty Drago) of Connecticut and Timothy Alfano of Shelby; his grandchildren, Layla, Ethan, Stella and Scarlett; the mother of his children Susan Alfano of Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Alfano and Patti Alfano. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090).
