He is survived by: his children, Bridget Barber (Tim Black) of Lawndale, Laura Brooke Barber (Jonathan Simpson) of Gastonia, Jade Tallent of Boiling Springs and Cody Sluder of Asheville; his grandchildren, MaHaela Black, Hadleigh Black and Savanna Rosie Simpson; and his siblings, Ronnie Bailey of Lawndale, Brian Bailey of Lawndale, Charlie Barber, Jr. of Gastonia, Rhonda Barber (Tonia Lovelace) of Gastonia and Laura Hamrick of Shelby.
