With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy Canipe Neely of Lawndale, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Madison Canipe and Gladys Daphine Bumgardner Canipe; and her sisters, Robin "Lou" Rich and Janice Thrift. She is survived by: her close friend Luther Ray Hicks; her son Lee Neely of Lawndale; her siblings, James "Boo" Canipe of Lawndale, Tim Canipe of Lawndale, Rita Neely of Ellenboro and Lisa Blanton (James) of Shelby; and her pet Jasmine.
