He is survived by: his wife Debra Smith Davis; his children, Jacob Davis (Taylor) of Kings Mountain, Travis Cook (Tori) of Shelby and Casey Abee (Brandon) of Morganton; his siblings, Bill Davis of Morganton, Carrol Davis of Hickory and Karen Costner (Ken) of Lawndale; and his grandchildren, Payton Abee, Payten Abee, Madi Gregg, Eli Gregg, Eli Bruce and Ella Pennington.
