She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Sweezy, Sr.; her parents, Rommie Brackett and Cordie Brackett; and her sibling J. D. Self. She is survived by: her siblings, Ted Brackett, Lucy Bumgardner, Carrie Lovelace, Ray Brackett and Dessie Brackett; her children, Clyde Sweezy, Jr. (Linda), Mark Sweezy (Amber Janis), Kristy Davis (Ronnie) and Teresa Curry; her grandchildren, Jason Sweezy, Adam Sweezy, Becky Davis, Pamela Sweezy, Leslie Curry and Tim Curry; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Sweezy, Jacob Sweezy (Ruby), Harley Hollifield (Tyler), Whitney Hinson (Alec), Josh Boyter (Alyssa), Ana Davis, John Davis, Tillie Davis and Noah Curry; and also Jessie.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston Chapel (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to, Wendover Hospice House, 953 Wendover Heights Dr, Shelby, NC 28150.
