He is survived by: his mother Zenie Ellen Hudson Smith of Lawndale; his sons, Tony Smith of Hickory and Brady Smith (Kelsey Rector) of Casar, NC; his sister Diane Smith Dale (Walter) of Casar; his granddaughters, Sadie and Maycee Smith; his nephew Michael Dale of Casar; his niece Christal Markland (David) of Polkville; and his great-nieces, Kaylee and Dakota Markland.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zoar Baptist Church (130 Zoar Church Rd, Casar, NC 28020).
