He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Franklin Cloninger and Annie Pearl Brackett Cloninger; and his siblings, Daniel O. Cloninger and Trudy C. Lail. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Spencer Cloninger; his children, Anthony Cloninger (Ariadna) of Shelby, Eric Cloninger (Tanja) of Shelby, Michal C. Tesseneer (Mike) of Polkville and Kelly C. Weaver (Keith) of Lawndale; his grandchildren, Ashley T. King (Doyle), Laura T. Kay (Chad), Mia Cloninger and Ian Cloninger; and his great grandchildren, Payton Tesseneer, Hunter Kay, Lane Kay and Jordan Caudill.
