With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janie Scism of Lawndale, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Powell Scism; and her stepfather Joe Scism Sr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Joe Scism Jr. (Paige) of Lawndale and Amanda Scism Gettys of Shelby; and her nephews, Luke Scism, Caleb Scism and Manuel Gettys.
