He is survived by: his wife Doris Floyd Palmer; his children, Larry Palmer of Lawndale, Jonathan Punch of Lawndale, Betty Sprowes of Nashville, TN and Elizabeth Punch of Lawndale; and his sister Shirley Vandell of Athens, TN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
