She was predeceased by: her siblings, Burgin Auton, Ralph Auton, Robert Auton (Hoot), William Auton (Dood), Maezelle Auton Walls and Ethel Mae Auton (Tis).
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Jean Carter Barden (Lyn) of Newton and Rodney Michael Auton (Lu-Ann) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Kevin Barden (Hannah Strouf) of Leesburg, Brandy Barden Slater (Donald Price) of Gamewell, NC, Chasity Barden Woodard (Ricky Woodard) of Hendersonville, NC, Kristen Auton of Hickory, NC and Katie Auton Rudisill (Allen) of Vale, NC; her great grandchildren, Ethen Strouf, Leilianna Barden, Adeline Barden, Jesse Slater, Haley Slater, Dylan Slater, Luke Woodard, Lane Woodard and Alexis Rudisill; and her siblings, Barbara Stallings (Sis), Linda Stallings (Kay), Frances Peeler (Polly) and Harold Dean Auton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
