He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ralph Ivester and Vernie Pruitt Ivester Wright; his wife Lois Blanton Ivester; and his stepsons, Doug Stroup, Ronnie Stroup and Vernon Stroup.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Renee Belcher (Ronnie); and also Lawrence A DiBari III of Lawndale. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090).
