He is survived by: his parent Annie Elizabeth Plummer Pender; his children, Jeremy Pender, Adam Pender, Shannon Froehlich (Dan) of Gastonia, Brittany Pender (Wanda) of Lawndale and Virginia Ledbetter of Stanley; his grandchildren, Kendall Pender, Dalton Ledbetter, Blaine Britt, Aaron Froehlich, Annalise Froehlich and Kloey Jade Pender; and his siblings, Evander Pender (Janice) of Florence, SC, Virgil Pender (Ernistine) of Fayetteville, Kathleen Ham of Society Hill, SC and Evelyn Atkinson of Elliott, SC..
