She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Guy Hastings and Lillian Turner Hastings; her husband William "Bill" Lee Shuford; her daughter Kathy Walker; and her siblings, John D. Hastings, Sr., Carl Hastings and Mary Tessneer.
She is survived by: her son Keith Shuford (Jennifer) of Boiling Springs; her children-in-law, Wayne Walker of Lawndale and Jeanne Shuford of Casar; her brothers, Bill Hastings of Lawndale, Robert Hastings of Ridge Crest, CA and Norris Hastings of Shelby; her grandchildren, Sandy Hamrick (Rick) of Lawndale, Brad Walker (Cortney) of Shelby and Weston Shuford (Allie Beam) of Casar; her stepgrandchildren, Kaitlyn and Reaghan Bramlett; her great grandchildren, Abby Clayton (Matt), Clayton Hamrick (Mackenzie), Ansley, Addie and Brooks Walker; and her great great grandchildren, Jack Hamrick and Walker Guy Clayton.
