He is survived by: his wife Maggie Mae Rippy Tipps; his granddaughter Tiara Harbinson (Dean); his great grandchildren, Malaysia Bruton, Makalya Pugh, Tiona Pugh and Kayvon Williams; and his sisters, Hazel Craig, Vera Caldwell, Louise Dixon, Mary Tipps and Diane Reynolds.
