She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Turner and Eunice Bell Turner; her husband Dock Emory; and her children, Jack, Arthur Emory, Wanda Cleary and Mary Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Emory (Tonya) of Shelby, Patsy Scoggins (Jeff) of Mooresboro and Ann McCurry of Mooresboro; her sister Betty Jean Martin of Cleveland County; and her granddaughter Cande Emory. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
