He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clarence Edwards, Sr. and Connie Curry Edwards; and his sister Darlene Davis. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Lovelace Edwards; his children, Steve Mullinax (Melinda) of Lawndale and Tammy Blanton (Preston) of Lawndale; his siblings, Keith Edwards of Shelby, Timmy Edwards of Shelby and Annette Davis of Conover; and his nephews, Trent Smith and Jordan Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
