He is survived by: his children, Leroy Johnson (Lonnie) of Shelby, Dean Allen of Gaffney, SC, Phyllis Boykins of Shelby, Annette Toms of Shelby, Gwen Woodson of Shelby, Allison Whitworth (Jerry) of Shelby and Sheila Agyapong of Shelby; his sister-in-law Hattie Clara Wimbush of Hickory, NC; and his grandson Charles Weaver, III. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
