We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2021, at the age of 61, Charles Howell Jr. of Lawndale, North Carolina, born in Shelby, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peggy D. Howell of Shelby and Charles H. Howell Sr.; his grandparents, Dewey, Edna Earl Howell, Max H. and Grace P. DeVine; his wife Sherry B. Howell; his children, Jessie N. Howell and Charles Andrew Howell (Drew); his siblings, Debbie H. Owens of Surfside Beach, SC and David L. DeVine of Belmont, NC.; his nephew Jonathon Owens of Surfside Beach, SC.; his pet Tyson; his uncle Tommy L. Howell of Shelby; and his aunts, Mable D. Shepherd, Dorothy D. Tesseneer (John), Vickie D. Jackson, Vallery D. McCoy (Tom) and Pam DeVine.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or charity of choice.
