With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn C. Costner (Lawndale, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on June 1, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Leonard Champion; her daughter Robin Costner Bumgardner; and her siblings, Loyd Champion, Danny Champion, Doris Brittain and Mary Elizabeth "Sis" Champion.
She is survived by: her parent Lela Hayes Champion; her husband Mark Ellis Costner; her daughter Wanda Costner Ramsey of Fallston; her brother Bill Champion of Shelby; her grandchildren, Nikki Cook (Jeff), Stacey McMurry (Elliott), Lindsey Lawson (Shante) and Mark Bumgardner; her great grandchildren, Hannah Cook, Peyton Cook, Bailee Cook, Olivia Ramsey, Preslee McMurry, Gaige Lawson and Laila Lawson; and her niece Jane Lowman (Dennis) of Fallston.
