Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Arthur Ledford (Lawndale, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 78, on February 3, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Mills and Minnie Mae Swink Ledford (Macie); his brothers, Walter Ledford and Roger Ledford (Pat); his nephew Mike Ledford; his brother-in-law Self; and his daughter Anita Ledford.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Cooke Ledford; his sons, Nathaniel (Kellie Jackson Ledford) and Wesley (Kellie Jo Boggs Ledford); his grandsons, Ethan and Emmett Ledford; and his siblings, Andy Ledford and Gladys Self. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

“Arthur was the light of my day! I met him as a new hire, brand spankin’ new to the work force out of college. I worked around the clock just trying to catch up on my work, and he often would check in on me because I was the only car in the parking lot at all hours of the night and weekends... he found me in tears quite a few times also...but always lifted me up with a kind word, light story, some beautiful fresh-cut flowers that he had grown, or a merely listening ear. He is dearly missed 😔”
