She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Ray Hardee (Danny Hardee) of Laurinburg, NC and Dr. Roger A. Ray (Eileen) of Charlotte, NC; her nephew Jack Parsons (Marilyn) of Knoxville, TN; and her nieces, Rebecca Whited (Chuck) of South Boston, VA and Patricia Miller of Roanoke, VA..
Virginia retired at the age of 91 years old to help her daughter care for her husband struck with Covid.
