She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Douglas Polston and Frances Hughes Polston; her husband Alfred Snead; her siblings, Margaret Wiley, Ruby Lee Driggers, James Albert Polston, Norman Polston and Malcolm Polston; and her grandson Timothy Lamm.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Snead (Vickie) and Sandra Lamm (Kenny); her grandchildren, Kevin Lamm (Zion), Katie Beekman (Jonathan) and Rebecca Snead; her great grandchildren, Raelyn Beekman and Zoe Lamm; and her sister-in-law Sarah Polston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to New Hope Baptist Church, 11480 Hasty Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
