We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2023, at the age of 78, Shirley Godfrey of Laurinburg, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Wade and B. Earl Wade; her sister Peggy Wade Griffiths; and her cousin Matthew Ragsdale. She is survived by: her husband Ronald; her daughter Veronica Deak (Terry); her stepmother Emma; and her cousins, Kathy Ragsdale (Murphy), Ann Hutton (Jim), Amy Kaminski (Aaron), Kathryn Burr (Cory), Anna Ragsdale, Madelyn Ragsdale and James Burr.
Shirley loved flowers, but would prefer donations to Saint Luke United Methodist Church, 1501 Turnpike Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352 or the Scotland County Humane Society, 12340 McColl Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
