It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ned Monroe Barringer of Laurinburg, North Carolina, born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Barringer and Annie Ross Barringer; his wife Emma Jean Day Barringer; and his brother Harold Barringer. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Hearn (David) of Greenville, SC, Donald Barringer (Arlene) of Laurinburg and Susan Greene (Bryan) of Rockingham; his grandchildren, Matt Hearn (Erica), Curtis Hearn (Ziara), Amy Copeland (Nate), Leigh Ann White (Jason), Cassie Rivela (Steve), Ashley Jacobs (Raylon), Samantha Barringer, Heather Dorenbusch (Stephen), Andrew Greene (Amanda) and Brandon Greene (Karina); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Elijah, Dakota, Malakai, Audrey, Josiah of Brooks, RJ, Colby, Monroe, Mason and Bowen; his great great grandchild Aurora; and his nephew Hal Barringer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Luke United Methodist Church (1501 Turnpike Rd, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
