He is survived by: his children, Pamela Smith (Kenny) of Maxton, NC, Rachel Oxendine (David) of Maxton, NC, Colette Oxendine of Laurinburg, NC, Stacey Oxendine of Laurinburg, NC and Joseph Andrew Butler (Lisa) of Fayetteville, NC; his siblings, Rev Roscoe Oxendine (Lillian) of Dillon, SC, Jeanette Sheppard of Laurinburg, NC and Gladys Locklear of Little Rock, SC; and his stepsisters, Vivian Miller of Laurinburg, NC and Rosie Oxendine of Rowland, NC. He is also survived by his family as daddy, papa, brother.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Melody Land Faith Chapel (2612 Judson Rd, Little Rock, SC 29567). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Melody Land Faith Chapel Cemetery (2612 Judson Rd, Little Rock, SC 29567).
