She was predeceased by: her parent Charlie Moore; her husband Charles Merchant; her son Barry Walters; her daughter-in-law Debbie Walters; and her brothers, Elmer Moore and Layton Moore.
She is survived by: her parent Leah Moore (Hardie); her children, Paula Love (Richard) of Laurinburg, Jimmy Walters of Chadbourn and Curtis Walters (Cynthia) of Whiteville; and her grandchildren, Adam Jones, Lizzey Love, April Mash, Lisa Thomas and Christy Walters.
The family requests for memorial donations to be given in her memory to Scotland Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
