It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael D. Salzer of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopold Kenneth Salzer III and Iris Driggers Salzer. He is survived by: his wife Nina Elizabeth "Beth" Grooms Salzer; his sons, Michael David Salzer, Jr. of Laurinburg, Joshua Brown Salzer of Southfield, MI and Jeremy Adam Salzer of Hoffman Estate, IL; and his siblings, Leopold Kenneth Salzer, IV, Barry John Salzer, Christopher Nicholas Salzer and Lynn F. Salzer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; along with a host of loving extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
