She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Brown and Hollis Brown; her husband Leon Oxendine; her son Joshua Leon Oxendine; and her sister Gayle Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Regina Bailey of Fairmont, Jackie Bailey (Junior) of Wadesboro, Larry Tunstall (Ronnie Lynne) of Laurel Hill, Gilbert Chavis (Joyce) of Pembroke, Jessy Bailey of Pembroke and Jesica Wilkes (Robert) of Lumberton; and her sister Helen Cox. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at the Robert Floyd Cemetery.
