We bid farewell to Margaret Harris of Laurinburg, North Carolina, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Neil McLeod Greene and Alton Cutchin Greene, Sr.; her sister Martha Neil Greene; and her husband Paul Preston Harris, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Paul Preston Harris III (Susan Jernigan), James "Mac" McLeod Harris and Martha Neal Harris Harvell (Bob Harvell); her brother Alton Cutchin Greene, Jr. (Gail); her grandchildren, Maggie Harvell Soles, Rob Harvell, Ashley Harris Schloss, Preston Harris, Tyler Harris, Braxton Harris and Alec Harris; and her close friend Betty Frostick. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
