She was predeceased by: her parents, Hulda Marie Seibert Kohls and Harry Frederick Kohls; her husband Wayne Evans; her son Scott Eric Evans; and her brother LaVerne Robert Kohls.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Wayne Evans (Megan) of Apex, NC, Mark Steven Evans (Linda) of Owasso, OK and Susan Evans Murphy (Michael) of Laurinburg, NC; her grandchildren, Matthew Evans, Joshua Evans, Nicholas Murphy, Miles Murphy and Lainey Murphy; and her great grandchildren, Graham Cutchin Evans and Samantha Cutchin Evans.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given in Mrs. Evans memory to the Lutheran Church of the Living Word, 1899 Lake Drive, Laurinburg, NC 28352 or the Scotia Village Foundation, 2200 Elm Avenue, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
