She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Benoist and Grace Boone Benoist; her husband Sam Covington; her daughter Wendy Moore; and her brother Roy Benoist.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Chavis (Al Layton) of Sanford, Cindy Fournier (Wayne) of Garner and Beth Covington of Jackson, Michigan. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
