As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Albert Chavis; and his wife Lisa Lett Chavis. He is survived by: his mother Ella Ree Chavis; and his siblings, Helen Porter Rebecca (Mike) and Al Mitchell Chavis (Pam). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends.
