He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie James Clark and Nellie Locklear Clark; his wife Lenora Smith Clark; his siblings, James Allen Clark and Mary Smiling; and his grandson Cameron Clark.
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Joe Ratley and Michael John Ratley of Laurinburg; his grandchildren, James Tyndall, Courtney Clark and Cody Clark; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Ferguson, Caiden Ferguson, Jaci Smith, Alayah Tyndall and Haisley Clark; his brothers, Delton Ray Clark (Freida Clark) of Laurinburg and Jessie Lee Clark (Sibyl Oxendine) of Pembroke; and his friend Wade Chavis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the same location.
