He was predeceased by: his parents, James Aubrey McDonald, Sr. and Mary Thompson McDonald; his wife Mimi McColl McDonald; his daughter Aubrey Elizabeth McDonald; and his siblings, Betty Lou Campbell, Tommy McDonald and Ernie McDonald.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Anne McDonald Bigger (Bob) of North Augusta, SC; his brother Billy Olin McDonald; and his grandchildren, Bronwyn Bigger and Sarah Bigger Ulman (Trevor).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given in Aubrey's memorials to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 13000 Blues Farm Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
