He is survived by: his wife Dolores Branton; his children, James Foster "Jimmy" Branton, Jr. (Abby) of Rockingham, Jackie Evans (David), Tammy McRae (William) of Laurinburg, Dawn Simpson (Fred) of Harriman, TN and Lorie Rainwater (Tim) of Hamlet; his siblings, Eugene Branton (Nellie) and Rosa Mae Short; his brothers-in-law, Prentice Boan and Dalair Nobles (Brenda); his grandchildren, BJ Cooper (Melissa), Elizabeth Blackburn (Matthew), Tim Evans (Keri), Melissa Richardson (Aaron), Nathan Simpson, Rebecca Scott (Jeremy), Alli Branton, Megan Rainwater and Emma Branton; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Chris, Drew, Amelia, Reed and Bean. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
