It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Townsend of Laurinburg, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Kelly Covington and Harold McNeil Covington Sr.; and her siblings, Harold McNeil Covington Jr. (Mac) and Barbara Ann Lupo. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Townsend (Kenny) of Tampa, Michael Townsend (Mike) of Tampa, Horace Townsend (Allen) of Clearwater and Kevin Kingston of Durham; her grandson Nicholas Rogers (Nick) of Laurinburg, NC; her pet Roxie; and her friend Jeanette. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, many special friends, her beloved church family.
