We bid farewell to Dorothy Ann Mitchell of Laurinburg, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2024 at the age of 66. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her sons, Kendrick Mitchell and Travis Mitchell; and her brothers, Joseph McCormick, Jerry McCormick, Ray McCormick and Timothy McCormick. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pm's & L Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 N Patterson St, Maxton, NC 28364). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Lighthouse Church (925 Purvis Rd, Rowland, NC 28383).
