He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Powell of Marion, SC, Kenneth Ray Powell (Roxanne) of Shallotte, NC and Lesa Powell Matthews (Lee) of Maxton, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Nicole Hunt, Christopher Paul Coleman, Kenneth Ray Powell, Jr., Joshua Powell, Matthew Powell and Timothy Powell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hillside Memorial Park (11007 Academy Rd, Laurinburg, NC 28352).
