He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Solomon Bridger and Mary "Mammie" Caulk Bridger; his siblings, Roger Bridger, Evelyn Caudill, Marian Carter and Vera Hilburn; his children, James Bridger of Fountain Inn, SC, Melanie Louise Blackwell of Greenville, SC, Felicia Strickland of Laurinburg and Alison Corker of Fayetteville; his sister Ophelia Peck of Cincinnati, OH; and his child Sadie Stricklin. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family requests memorial donations be given to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 883, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
