She is survived by: her daughters, Connie S. Barefoot (Junior) and Beverly A. Sweat of Maxton; her grandchildren, Kelly Johnson, Courtney Strickland, Adam Sweat and Scottie W. Parker of Pembroke; her sister Peggy Spurlin of Georgia; her brother-in-law Donald Strickland of Maxton; her niece Billie Jo Phillips; her nephews, Robin Strickland, Johnny R. Strickland and Donald A. Thompson; and her caregivers, Ashley Lowery and Maggie Oxendine.
