She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Coy Oxendine and Geneva Hunt Oxendine; and her sister Linda Fay Oxendine. She is survived by: her children, Ashley Locklear (Charles White) of Laurinburg and John D. Hunt of Charlotte; her brothers, James Coy Oxendine of Laurinburg, Rev. Charles F. Oxendine of Maxton and Dewey D. Oxendine of Laurinburg; her grandchild Mahala Brayboy; her close friends, Debbie Brewer and Phillip Hunt; and her nieces and nephews, Chuck, Belinda, Jason and Brandy. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece and nephew, along with a host of loving extended family and friends.
