He was predeceased by: his father Colonel Ephrian; and his brother Russell Woodie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Ruester Woodie; his son Tom Woodie of Georgia; his sister Delores Anders of Sparta; and his grandchildren, Caitlin, Robert and Ashton Woodie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
