He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert Clef Halsey and Ralph Benton Halsey; his daughter-in-law Teresa Bass Halsey; and his great grandchild Eli Thomas Halsey. He is survived by: his wife Eloise Coleman Halsey; his children, Roger Halsey and Joyce Pierson; his grandchildren, Tracy Pierson of Chattanooga, TN and Claire Brooks; and his great grandchild Hayden Halsey of Kingsport, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
