She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyley Gordon and Verna Bell Wingler Miller; her husband Paul Benjamin Dixon; her children, Lonnie Mark Dixon, Larry Ray Dixon and Delphia Marie Dixon; her grandson Tony Roten; and her siblings, Lenord, Russell, Arvil, Hermon Miller, Gladys Barnes, Hazel Patterson and Recca Roten.
She is survived by: her children, Fylena Dale Roten (Allen) of Millers Creek and Gary Clay Dixon (Frances) of Laurel Springs; her grandsons, Terry Roten of Millers Creek, Scott Roten of Boonville and Jason Roten (Andrea) of Wilkesboro; her great grandchildren, Riley Roten of Wilkesboro, Jacob Roten of Wilkesboro, Chandler Roten of Boonville and Jonah Roten of Wilkesboro; and her siblings, Donald Miller (Betty) of Glendale Springs, Bronard Miller (Temphia) of Laurel Springs and Myrtle Stanley of Hays.
Graveside service will be private with Jason Roten officiating. Due to COVID-19, Mrs. Dixon will lie-in-state at Miller Funeral Service from 11:00 until 1:00 p. m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. The family has requested no visitors, no food, and no flowers, due to the COVID-19.
