With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ruth Dean of Laurel Springs, North Carolina, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 2, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father William Shafer. She is survived by : her children, Roy High (Lisa) of Asheboro, NC, Gerald Large (Kim) of Lexington, NC and Bridget Bare (Mitchell) of Laurel Springs. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
