She was predeceased by: her father William Shafer. She is survived by: her children, Roy High (Lisa) of Asheboro, NC, Gerald Large (Kim) of Lexington, NC and Bridget Bare (Mitchell) of Laurel Springs. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
