She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Stringer and Effie Sheets Stringer; her husband Clarence Fields Bare; her son Ralph Bare; her granddaughter Lindsay Perkins; and her siblings, Bill, Vaughn Stringer, Cathleen Perkins and Georgia Faye Bare.
She is survived by: her daughter Kay Perkins of Jefferson; her daughter-in-law Edith McNeill Bare of Laurel Springs; her siblings, Sarah Long of Jefferson and Eddie Little of Jefferson; her grandsons, Scott Bare (Shana) of Creedmoor and Travis Perkins (Kendra) of Jefferson; and her great grandchildren, Justin Bare, Alex Bare, John Fields Perkins and Annie Claire Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
